SCHOOL BOARD NIXES MOVE TO NOVEMBER ELECTION

Hmm, the SOMA School Board rejected the idea of moving its election to November, according to PATCH: 
Mary Barr Mann @MaplewoodPatch Board of Ed votes NO on moving election to November.

Not a surprise given that it is easier to control the election in April because fewer people vote, even if it costs more and makes it more difficult to get as many people to vote as possible.

Thumbs down Board of Ed, another reason to vote them out.
