NJ TRANSIT STICKS IT TO US AGAIN

NJ Transit, not satisfied with raising fares when needed, will now slap a $5 charge on you if you dare buy a ticket on the train.

In the past, the deal was that they would do this if there was a ticket office open at the station where you boarded. No such luck now

Since March 1, even if the ticket office is closed, you get hit because you did not use the ticket machine now at every station.

If you are running for the train and just make it, tough luck!
