SCHOOL BOARD FINAL BUDGET VOTE TONIGHT

The Board of Education will finalize its vote for the proposed new budget, a $104 million spending plan that would increase school taxes for most Maplewood residents by $199, a nearly 2.5% hike.

 Among the items at issue is cutting funds for a student assistant counselor. It also prompted this petition by those seeking to save the jobs.
