The redevelopment of the Maplewood Village Post Office site received increased attention again at Tuesday night's Township Committee meeting as the TC voted down a proposal to allow the redevelopment project to reach a height of 50 feet.
But the 5-0 vote against that plan was done as the developer revealed earlier this week he had agreed to reduce the height to 45 feet and lower the size from four stories to three stories.

Still, opposition continued to the entire project with former Mayor Fred Profeta and past TC member David Huemer among those who made their own opposition known citing concerns that other uses for the site have not been properly reviewed:
