CHS LOCKDOWN ENDS WITH ONE IN CUSTODY; NO MORE DETAILS YET

For the second time in less than a month, Columbia High School was under a lockdown today when a report of a person with a gun outside of the school was called into police.

The incident occurred around Noon and students outside for lunch were not allowed in, while those inside were directed to remain in place, with many stuck in the cafeteria.

The lockdown ended at about 12:40 p.m. with one person in custody, although it is unclear for what and if any weapon was found.

The incident comes just a day after the horrific mass killings in San Bernardino, Ca. and just three weeks after a lockdown occurred at the school due to a student posting threatening comments on Instagram.

We will post more details as they are obtained.
