PODCAST: LOCAL POET TINA KELLEY ON HER LATEST BOOK AND WORDS APPEARANCE

Maplewood author, journalist, and poet Tina Kelley has done it again, penning her third collection of prose titled Abloom & Awry.

She will be at Words Bookstore in Maplewood Village on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the works and sign copies.

We caught up with Kelley this week to ask about her poems, which go beyond the usual flowery fluff to engage ideas related to journalism, parenting and life as a working mother.  She also delved in to her writing process and the state of poetry today.
