The Township Committee on Tuesday will consider new rates for rental of The Woodland and the Burgdorff Center, which will raise rates at one and lower them at the other.
The proposal would raise the basic fee for rental of the Woodland's Great Hall from $145 per hour for residents to $180 per hour on weekends, and from $85 per hour to $110 per hour on weekdays.
Resident rental of the smaller Woodland Parlor Room would go from $70 per hour on weekends to $90; and from $45 per hour to $50 per hour on weekdays.
Non-residents would pay a bigger increase with weekend rental of the Great Hall up from $225 per hour on weekends to $280 per hour, while non-residents renting the Parlor Room would see a jump from $110 per hour on the weekend to $140 per hour.
These are the first rate increases since the Township bought The Woodland (the former Womens Club) building in 2014.
At The Burgdorff Center, which currently charges $40 per hour weekdays for residents and $50 for non-residents (and $10 per hour higher for its theater), rates would be reduced to $25 per hour and $15 per hour for rental use, with other more specific rates created for performances and week-long arrangements.
"The older rates weren't viable for smaller groups and theater groups," Maplewood Cultural Affairs Director Andrew Fishman said about the Burgdorff.

Tuesday's TC meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 574 Valley St.
