THREE MAPLEWOODIANS NOMINATED FOR TONY AWARDS

Its already a big deal that Maplewood is home to several Broadway stars. But now it turns out three of them are up for Tony Awards, according to the nominations announced this week.

First there is Christine Ebersole, who could be on her way to a third Tony Award, having received a nomination for best lead actress in a musical for her portrayal of Elizabeth Arden in the smash Broadway hit War Paint.

Ebersole has previously won Tony awards for her work in 42nd Street and Gray Gardens.

And don't forget Kate Baldwin, who is up for best actress in a featured role in a musical for playing alongside Bette Midler in Hello Dolly.

Finally there is Stephanie J. Block, who is nominated in the same category for her work in Falsettos

The awards show is set for June 10. We will be watching.
