NO SMOKING BAN AND HIGHER POOL FEES PASS TC

The Township Committee Tuesday night unanimously voted to increase pool fees by more than 30% and restrict smoking in public parks.


Both moves will undergo a public hearing at the next TC meeting Feb. 21 before a second vote.


The Township Committee also passed a resolution to move school board elections to November. But South Orange trustees and the Board of Education must also approve the move.
