Over the past year, Words in Maplewood has held approximately 100 author events, hosting the likes of Garrison Keillor, Ed Koch and Dionne Warwick. A new website allows customers to order books and e-books online. In 2011, Words was honored with the national Disability Matters Award and featured in Entrepreneur magazine for its program to employ individuals with autism.
