ELECTION DAY OVERLOAD AT TRAIN STATION

Yes, it is finally election day for the Board of Education and both sides were out in full force at the train station, defying the NJ Transit policy forbidding the placement of their signs on the train station property.

Asked about the policy, Madhu Pai stated: "We chose to disregard it." At least she is honest.

The Pai, Bennett, Eastman slate took things a step further, giving away morning goodies and drinks with their images on it. Can you buy a vote for the price of a peanut bar? We'll see.

                                Polls open 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
