With Crane's moving in with nearby Highland Place, the spot was available and now in the hands of Ms. Lauren, a Montclairian who promises home-baked goodies. She said today was the soft opening.
Coffee was good and biscuits were as good as your grandmother used to make. She promises more soon.
Will yet another such spot survive with so many in the Village? We wish her luck.
