BULLETIN BOARD CONTROVERSY GROWS - OUT OF TOWN EVENT NOW GETTING SPACE OVER LOCAL FOLKS

The controversial glass-enclosed, key-locked bulletin board in Maplewood Village that replaced the longtime free and open board is gaining new scrutiny.

First, the News-Record put the issue on Page One this week, noting the dispute that has prompted a petition soon to be delivered to the Township Committee.

And, believe it or not, the Maplewood Village Alliance, which is now controlling the locked board, decided to give space to an event in Warren, while locking out local folks. Unreal.



This is not likely to go over well much longer.
