POWER OUTAGE AFFECTED 6,000 CUSTOMERS - CAUSED BY BROKEN INSULATOR

We got this explanation for today's brief power outage this morning from PSE&G via email:


In response to your inquiry regarding the outages in Maplewood:
A broken insulator caused a line to fall, causing approximately 6,000 customers to lose service for an hour and 45 minutes.  Crews made the repair and service has been restored to everyone affected.
