UPDATE - FOUR-ALARM FIRE LEAVES A DOZEN HOMELESS


UPDATE: Turns out WABC got it wrong, house is in Union

More than a dozen people were left homeless after a fire Saturday night in a multi-family home in Maplewood, New Jersey.
It took firefighters several hours to battle the 4-alarm blaze before they finally brought it under control.

The fire began just after 7 Saturday evening in a building on Laurel Avenue, and the flames spread quickly.

The Red Cross is assisting those affected by the blaze.

No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
