UPDATE: ANOTHER MAPLEWOODONLINE BLACKLIST

UPDATE: The thread noted below has apparently been removed.

Wow, so Maplewoodonline blacklists another person, apparently for non-profane comments.

In the discussion started by me on my story about the township employee picnic, this exchange went forth and the person known as Navigator is clearly banned by Jamie Ross.

Note the comment at the bottom by someone assuming mental illness, a nice bit of slander that is allowed.

Anyone know if the $2,400 went to local businesses? Again, open bid or direct funneling of money to a friend? Hey, I am standing up for the small businesses in town there were possibly deprived of a fair shot a town business, let's get some answers.

I think I'll stroll by the picnic too and thank these loafs for the hazard they created in town last Fall with their failure to pick up the dang autumn leaves in the street until forever. Remember that neighbors? Yeah, I'll be there Friday, and I am bringing a dozen or so rakes with me and will hand them to Vic D and the DPW guys and promptly it's September, at your pace you need a headstart, "Get to Steppin!".

I want to be there with a camera when you stop by the picnic with rakes and call the DPW workers a buncha loafs!

What will the title of the ensuing YouTube link be?

  • Maybe he can thank them for the incredible job they did last fall, when the October snowstorm toppled trees and caused large branches to fall all over town.

That may have caused a slight delay in leaf pick-up, even though those guys were working overtime on all the trees.

Yeah, you would think that would be a consideration...

Good. Seeing that amount of, apparently, heartfelt anger is a little scary.
  • I don't think that it's too much to ask that they spend the money locally. I'd suggest a place but then I may get attacked for imaginarily owning it.
  • The picnic is at the pool and Freeman's is supplying the food for the employees. They deserve to have a beautiful day and time!

It's a hundred, no a thousand separate and individual budget justifications just like this. taken individually, these expenses? , people emotionally covet and accept. however they lose sight that there are a hundreds of these things (singular items) that at the end of the day explain why your property taxes are up 20% in the last 5-6 years and you have to move out of Maplewood.

    Name them.

    1. redoing our streets and gutters.
    2. Parties on the town's dime.
    3. Fencing
    4. Maplewood Stock
    5. 2 Libraries
    6. Lawn Maintenance on Town Hall.
  • Who cares, they deserve it. Were not talking AIG here who took a government bailout and spent over 100 k on vacations.

Yeah, it is. I used to think that akishima's posts were psycho but amusing, but she posted recently that she's got three toddlers at home and now I think it's worrisome. Possible post-partum depression or something?
