Message from the Superintendent
Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year!
The opening of school is always the greatest time, filled with promise and possibility, and with fresh opportunities to learn, and grow, and inspire.
Over the past several years, we have been in a mode of continuous improvement, and have made significant progress in enhancing student learning and strengthening teaching. Guided by our talented faculty, and supported by engaged parents and guardians, our students excel in the classroom as scholars, on the field as athletes, on the stage as actors and in the studio as artists and musicians.
I look forward to continuing our work together this year to guide all of our students on a pathway to success, and to making South Orange Maplewood School District the top performing diverse suburban district in the nation.
