COPS CATCH BURGLAR IN FOOT CHASE TODAY

Just a few hours ago, cops chased and caught a would-be burglar on Curtiss Place.

Their report below:


October 1, 2012, Burglary; At approximately 1045 AM, officers responded to Curtiss Pl on an alarm activation.  Upon their arrival, Officer Rodney Tannenbaum observed a male jump from the second story window of the home and begin running from the scene.  The male led Officer Tannenbaum and Officer Rich Wright on a foot chase through several yards.  He was apprehended on Hickory Dr a short while later.  He was identified as 27 year old, James McMillon of Union NJ.


Also in this week's police news, another burglary, but without a suspect caught...yet:

September 27, 2012, Burglary; A burglary was reported by a Mountain Ave resident.  It is believed that they home was entered through forcing entry to the back door during the morning hours.  Jewelry, cash and electronics were reported missing.
