MAPLEWOOD AUTHOR TINA KELLEY AT LIBRARY THIS MORNING

10 a.m. Main Library – Join us when Tina Kelley discusses her latest book :  ALMOST HOME: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope.

Tina was a reporter at The New York Times for 10 years, where she wrote 121 “Portraits of Grief,” short descriptions of the victims of 9/11. She also wrote many stories involving powerless or voiceless people, or those whose struggles went against the grain of popular opinion. Her writing has appeared in numerous newspapers and periodicals. She has also written two books of poems.
