TWO BURGLARIES AND LOTS OF VEHICLE-RELATED CRIMES MARK WEEK

This from Maplewood Police today:

December 03, 2012, Motor Vehicle Theft, A Dodge Caravan was taken from a building on Burnett Ave over the previous few days

December 05, 2012, Burglary; A Coolidge Rd residence was entered during the daytime and a laptop removed.

December 05, 2012, Burglary; A Union Ave resident reported that their home was entered sometime during the day.  Several pieces of jewelry and electronics were reported missing.

December 6, 2012, Recovered Stolen Vehicle; A few minutes before 4 PM, Patrol Officer Lareau observed a vehicle that was illegally parked on Lexington Ave.  The license plate was checked and the vehicle was found to be stolen out of Hillside.  The vehicle was stopped at Tuscan Rd and Boyden Ave.  The operator, Sean Pierre, age 26 of East Orange was placed under arrested and charged with possession of the stolen property.

December 7, 2012, Theft from Auto; During the overnight hours a unlocked vehicle on Girard Pl was entered and change removed from it.

December 7, 2012, Theft from Auto; During the overnight hours two unlocked vehicles on Ridgewood Rd were entered. GPS units and an Ipod were taken.

December 7, 2012, Theft from Auto; During the overnight hours a unlocked vehicle on Maple Terr was entered and coins were removed.

December 7, 2012, Theft from Auto; During the overnight hours a unlocked vehicle on Burnet St was entered and an Ipod was removed. 

December 8, 2012, Malicious Damage; A vehicle on Woodside Rd and one on Peachtree Rd had damage to their door locks and the interiors were rummaged through.  The vehicles were entered during the overnight hours.
