TEEN BRAWL SPARKED HOSPITALIZATION, PARENT CONCERN

A violent incident involving a group of teen-agers last week at Harvard Ave. and Valley Street has drawn concern among many parents at Tuscan School, which is located on the same block.

At a Tuscan PTA meeting last week, it was discussed due to the violent nature of the incident that included an assault  by several of the teens on a girl, sending her to the hospital.

Maplewoodian.com has obtained the police report from the incident, which occurred on Jan. 29, 2013.

Names of those involved have been redacted by police because they were juveniles.
