BIG CAR BREAK-IN SPREE TUESDAY

PATCH reports:

Half a dozen Plymouth Avenue households had items including bicycles, GPS and in one case, a briefcase, taken from unlocked cars and garages early Tuesday morning, said Capt. John Perna of the Maplewood Police Department.
Someone entered and rummaged through cars parked in the driveways of four homes on Plymouth Ave and one on Burnett Terrace, and entered detached garages at two other houses on Plymouth, taking a bicycle from each, said Perna.
One of the bicycles was recovered on the premises it was taken from and the other bicycle was recovered on a neighboring property, Perna said. All of the cars and garages had been left unlocked, said Perna.
