Hilton Sewing for Kids
10:30 a.m. to Noon
Crafty Katie of It’s SEW Crafty teaches a creative approach to learning how to sew. In this workshop we will be learning how to use the sewing machine, and hand sewing to create a fun and funky project. Perfect for beginners and challenging enough for advanced sewers. Sewing machines and material provided but feel free to BYOSM (Bring Your Own Sewing Machine). Participants must wear close-toed shoes. No exceptions!
Ages 8 and up

Painting Picasso
4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Come to the library to learn about Picasso and do a Picasso-inspired craft with local art historian, Colette Hemingway.
Ages 6-10
