JUST CALL MAYOR DE LUCA THE GAY WEDDING PARSON

We reported last Friday that some 23 same-sex marriage licenses had been issued from Maplewood Town Hall during the first week of legalized gay marriage in New Jersey.

But now comes word from the township that Mayor Vic De Luca performed more than half of them:

Maplewood officiates same-sex marriages.

Mayor De Luca officiated more than a dozen same-sex marriages over the course of the week of October 21, 2013. Overall, Maplewood, issued 23 marriage applications from same-sex couples in the first week of their vows becoming legal.
