NEARLY TWO DOZEN SAME-SEX MARRIAGE LICENSES ISSUED

If you were wondering if the recent same-sex marriage court ruling would spark action in Maplewood, the answer is yes.

In the past week since the township began issuing same-sex marriage licenses last Friday, at least 23 couples have applied for the coveted documents, according to Township Clerk Liz Fritzen.
