Township offices and the post office are closed and you receive no mail delivery since it is a federal holiday.
But school is in session and your bank may or my not be open.
So why do we still have Columbus Day anyway? This honors a man who did not discover America (The Vikings and others were here earlier) and was a terrorist who murdered and stole.
