TC Member Marlon Brownlee was sworn in to his second term, while Abdul Mubarek-Row, assistant iman at Masjid Warith-ud-Deen in Irvington, who is also a Maplewood resident, did the invocation and benediction.
But the most entertaining moments were from Erica Philpot, a Maplewood resident and Columbia High graduate, who sang the National Anthem and the moving song, Hero.
