UPDATE: ICY DANGERS ON TOWNSHIP STREETS, AND SCHOOLS

UPDATE: We just received  a robo call from Majeed taking credit for the response to the icy paths when it was actually police ordering her to do so.

Pedestrians trying to navigate many of the public sidewalks around town today found some dangerous footing, with sidewalks along schools and some parks, such as Memorial Park, were bumpy, icy paths that were sure to cause potential danger and accidents.

Among them was an icy patch from Harvard Avenue into Tuscan School's playground, which was only blocked off for safety after parents complained to the school district and police, not through any effort from Principal Malikah Majeed.

And a walk along Valley Street next to Memorial Park also showed some hazardous icy steps that are under the township's responsibility to clear or face lawsuits if injuries occur. Lawsuits that will cost taxpayers.
