What are those cones on Springfield Avenue?
In
an effort to beautify and improve the streetscape along Springfield
Avenue, the Township is considering installing up to four landscaped
medians in the road. The medians will be about 7 feet wide and have
landscaping and street trees. The intent is to beautify the corridor
and provide some traffic calming. These cones will be set up for about
two weeks.
The Township will then decide where or if to install them. If they are installed, they will be done when Springfield Avenue is repaved, which depending upon funding will be this year.
