Payne, House committee on homeland security TO HOST FIELD HEARING in Newark ON the security successes and lessons learned following new jersey super bowl

Panels Will Feature Witnesses from the NFL, DHS, New Jersey State Police, NYNJPA, MetLife Stadium, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Rutgers University

Newark, N.J. –  Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. (NJ-10) as Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Communications, will host a field hearing entitled: “Mass Gathering Security: A Look at the Coordinated Approach to Super Bowl XLVIII in New Jersey and Other Large Scale Events.”  The Subcommittee will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the atrium at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), 150 Bleeker Street, Newark, New Jersey.
