WATER MAIN BREAK CUTS SERVICE TO RESIDENTS, CLOSES STREET

A water main break at the corner of Oakland Road and North Terrace has cut water to numerous homes and blocked off a portion of North Terrace Street, a situation not expected to be fixed for several hours, according to New Jersey American Water workers at the scene.

The water company has yet to reveal how many homes are affected or what the cause is, but residents report it began at about 8:30 a.m.
