MEMOLI NAMED ACTING SUPERINTENDENT FOR NEW SCHOOL YEAR

The Board of Education chose to keep interim superintendent James Memoli in the top spot as acting superintendent when the new school year begins, voting Monday night to appoint him to the post.

The board also introduced a new Jefferson School principal, Kimberly Hutchinson, who comes from Newark schools.

Add to this a new principal at Columbia High School, Elizabeth Aaron, and an as of yet unnamed new principal for Maplewood Middle School, and a lot of new faces are coming in for the 2014-2015 school year.

There is also whoever is the permanent superintendent and three new school board members who will be elected in November.
