ARMED ROBBERY LEADS POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police this morning:


November 6, 2014; Robbery; At approximately 8:30 PM a resident was walking on Hudson Ave.  While doing so, he was approached by two males that displayed a handgun.  The victim then grabbed the arm of the male holding the handgun and the second male struck him once and knocked him to the ground.  The two actors then took his wallet and backpack before fleeing on foot.  Both males were believed to be in their late teens or early twenties and were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.  The victim sustained a bloody nose and was treated by the Fire Department but refused transportation.

November 7, 2014; Burglary; Sometime during the day entry was forced to an apartment on Springfield Ave.  The apartment  was entered and cash removed.

November 9, 2014; Theft from Motor Vehicle; Sometime during the morning or early afternoon hours, an unlocked vehicle parked on Harding St was entered.  A backpack and small amount of cash were reportedly stolen
