Please...Clean Up After Your Pet
The Maplewood Township Code requires that dog feces be immediately
cleaned when a dog defecates on any public park or sidewalk or other
public area. Too many people are not cleaning up after their dogs at
DeHart Park and this is creating unsanitary and unhealthful conditions
in the parYour cooperation in cleaning up after your dog is very important in
helping to keep our park in a clean condition that everyone can use and
enjoy.
In addition, dogs are required to be licensed at the Maplewood Health Department every year by the end of January. Contact the Health Department at 973-762-8120 ext.4400 if you need an application, or if you have any questions.
