CHS 2015 GRADS ATTENDING COLLEGES FAR AND WIDE

As the new year begins today at Columbia High School we wanted to remind you where last year's CHS grads are heading this fall.

Some 428 of the 2015 grads are heading off to four year colleges, with the most, 43, going next door to Union County College, 26 headed to the main Rutgers University campus, 23 to Essex County College and another 15 to County College of Morris.

The rest span the nation, from one at Arizona State University, another headed to the University of Montana and nine at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (Maybe they can rent a house together).

The Ivy League scooped up four CHS grads -- one each at Columbia and Harvard and two at Cornell. One hundred and sixty-six of the 428 students chose to stay in New Jersey.

Other favorites were St. Johns University, Temple, Kean and Ithaca with six each; Bard College, Seton Hall, and New York University with five a piece, and American University, Penn State and Northwestern University, each of which have four CHS grads coming this year.
