CHS FOOTBALL WINS BIG, 24-7, AGAINST WEST ORANGE

The Columbia High School football team won their second game of the season on Saturday night, beating West Orange, 24-7, away.

This brings their record to 2-2, with their next game on Friday night at home against Weequahic.

Kiambu Jones paced Columbia with 114 yards rushing and one touchdown on 15 carries in a 24-7 victory over West Orange in West Orange. 

Martin Battle added 97 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries on the ground for Columbia. Brandon Robinson went 11-for-15 with 118 yards passing and one rushing touchdown in the victory. Jerrard Brown-Hawk recorded 10 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble and Jabreil Salaam had six tackles and two sacks. 

Columbia scored 17 unanswered second half points after the game was tied 7-7 at halftime.
