LIQUOR LICENSE LAW, COP PROMOTIONS LEAD TC AGENDA TUESDAY

A packed Township Committee meeting is set for Tuesday with a slew of proclamations -- from cancer awareness to fire prevention -- and several police promotions.

Also on the agenda is a proposed ordinance that would require a notice be sent to anyone within 200 feet of a location seeking a liquor license. We told you about the idea after the wine store slated for the former Santander Bank at Prospect Street and Springfield Avenue prompted concerns.
