The sweet treats are exploding in Maplewood Village.

First, another great place for muffins and more opened on Saturday at Palmers at 
1 Highland Place. Owners Joan and Kia Palmer are offering up scones, muffins and great java.

The new expanded Able Baker

Then up the street at The Able Baker at 187 Maplewood Ave., Owner Julie Johnson Pauly reopened on Friday with an expanded store, doubling her size after taking over the former Dempsey Chiropractic office next door.
