NEW POST OFFICE-RELATED VILLAGE CHANGES TO BE DISCUSSED

More disruptions and changes are being planned for Maplewood Village to allow for the former post office demolition and pending construction of the new three-story retail/housing complex.

The Township Committee on Tuesday night will discuss a list of moves that will be made to allow for the crews and vehicles needed for the work. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

 Post Office redevelopment:
(a) Establishing a train station pick up location on the north side of Durand Road (across from Burgdorff Center;/VD

(b) Creating a free "employee construction pass" to allow employees of businesses in Maplewood Village to park in designated areas beyond current time limited parking;/VD

(c) Permit public artwork (including murals) and appropriate signage in and around Maplewood Village during Post Office construction;/VD

(d) Prohibiting the unloading of delivery trucks in the Ricalton Parking Lot during the Post Office construction period/VD
