October 9, 2016; Fraud; A resident reported that they received a phone call from someone reporting that they worked for a technical support company that the resident had subscribed to. The caller provided the victim with some account information and convinced the resident that he was in fact an employee of the company. The caller was then able to convince the resident to make a payment to him using Itunes cards and Money Gram. The resident later realized it was a scam and reported this to the police department.
October 11, 2016; Burglary; Sometime over the previous three days, a garage on Orchard Rd was forcibly entered and a bicycle and tools were stolen.
October 11, 2016; Burglary; Sometime during the overnight hours, an unsecured home on Highland Ave was entered. Electronics and liquor were stolen from the first floor of the residence.
October 15, 2016; Stolen Motor Vehicle; Between 9 PM and 10:30 PM, a Ford Windstar was stolen from a parking lot on the 1500 Block of Springfield Ave.
