MAPLEWOODIAN ELECTION DAY GUIDE

On Election Day tomorrow, Maplewoodians have plenty to vote on.

Not just the presidential election and Congress, but your vote is needed in the election of Township Committee and school board members.

In the TC race, Democrat Frank McGehee is facing Republican Mike Summersgill. They are seeking the lone open seat that was held by Marlon Brownlee until his resignation in August. That seat has been filled by former TC member Ian Grodman, who will step down on Jan. 1, 2017 to be replaced by the winner of the election.

Hear our podcast interviews with both of them HERE. You can also see the last candidates forum HERE.

In the school board race, five candidates are vying for three seats up for grabs. Those include incumbents Stephanie Lawson-Muhammad and Johanna Wright and challengers Susie Adamson, Anthony Mazzocchi and James Davis.

Read our questionnaires that each candidate filled out HERE.

School board incumbent Beth Daugherty has chosen not to run for re-election.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Maplewood on Tuesday. If you have any questions about where to vote or your registration, call Town Hall at  973-762-8120.
