THEFTS AND BURGLARIES MARK POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police:

November 8, 2016: Burglary; During the daytime hours a unsecured home on Broadview Ave was entered. Jewelry and cash were reported stolen from the home.

November 9, 2016; Theft; During the overnight hours a vehicle parked on Harding St had it’s hood ornament stolen off of it.

November 11, 2016; Burglary; During the overnight hours a business on the 1800 block of Springfield Ave was forcibly entered.  A computer was reportedly stolen from the business.

November 13, 2016; Theft from Auto; Between 11PM and 1 AM an unsecured vehicle parked on Meadowbrook Pl was entered and a wallet removed.  Two unsecured  vehicles parked in the NJ Transit lot on Boyden Ave were also gone through. 

The Maplewood Police Department works hard to protect the residents and their property.  We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times.  Thank you
