NJ TRANSIT INVESTIGATING TRAIN STATION VANDALISM

If you were wondering, like we were, what happened at the Maplewood train station that damaged the glass door with bullet-like holes and cracks, NJ Transit is investigating.

Spokeswoman Nancy Snyder said the vandalism was discovered on Jan. 14 and is being investigated. She also said repairs will be made soon.

It appears not to be gun-related, but more likely rocks or stones thrown at the glass.

Maplewood Police said they had not been called on the situation, further indicating it was likely not gun-related.
