SECOND ARREST THIS MORNING IN TRIPLE HOMICIDE

Lavelle T. Davis

We reported last night that investigators had made an arrest in last month's triple homicide on Van Ness Court.

This morning, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office reported that a second suspect had been arrested as well.

Early this morning, Lavelle T. Davis, 33, 

of Galloway, NJ, has been arrested in Yonkers, 

New York by detectives from the Essex County 

Prosecutor's Office, FBI and Yonkers Police Department.

We appreciate the assistance and collaboration from all of 

the law enforcement agencies involved in this investigation 

and arrests of these dangerous individuals.

No additional information is available at this time.
