DELUCA, DAFIS AND SUMMERSGILL WIN PRIMARIES AS EXPECTED

No surprise that unopposed Democratic Township Committee candidates Vic Deluca and Dean Dafis won their party's primary Tuesday night, while lone Republican challenger Michael Summersgill took the GOP nomination.

One result of note is that Deluca received 288 more votes than his running mate, Dafis.

The three nominees will face off in the November election, where two seats are up for grabs on the five-member TC. Deluca is seeking re-election, but TC member India Larrier has chosen not to run, putting her seat up for grabs.
