MAPLEWOOD MARCHES FOR GAY EQUALITY

Dozens braved the heat, but enjoyed the sunshine at the Equality March today in Maplewood to promote gay, lesbian and transgender rights.

 After gathering at Ricalton

Square, the group marched down Maplewood Avenue and Baker Street before turning on to Valley Street and winding up at Town Hall for a rally.

The event was done to coincide with a similar national march on Washington, D.C. today.
