POLICE REPORT ONE ARREST, ALLEGED ROBBERY IN DE HART MELEE

A 19-year-old Newark man was arrested for alleged robbery of a 14-year-old Maplewood youth during the incident in De Hart Park Sunday evening, which included as many as 200 people and numerous fights, police reported today.

In an update to the story we first reported last night, with video of the altercations, police revealed that units from six other police departments responded to help disperse the crowd that had gathered after the nearby Mayfest.

No other arrests were reported.
