MAN ARRESTED, LINKED TO 25 THEFTS, 25 BURGLARIES IN AUTO BREAK-IN SPREE

On 4/13/12, Maplewood Police Detectives served an arrest warrant on Jamar Clantan, 23, of 560 Sanford Avenue, Newark, NJ at his residence. The Detective Bureau had obtained the arrest warrant after a comprehensive investigation into a series of break-ins to motor vehicles occurring in the Township over the past several months. Subsequent to his arrest, Clantan was charged with a total of 25 counts of Burglary and 25 counts of theft.
