POLICE STATION SOLD, BEER GARDEN SPLIT APPROVAL

Lost in Tuesday night's school board election were two notable items from the Township Committee meeting.

First, the TC announced approval of the sale of the former police station for $910,000, now awaiting the housing set to be built there.

Also, in a close vote, the beer garden for Maplewoodstock won approval in a slim 3-2 vote. Mayor Vic De Luca, and TC members Jerry Ryan and Kathy Leventhal voted in favor of the measure, while Marlon Brownlee and India Larrier voted against it.
