MEMORIAL FIELD LIGHTS HAVE ARRIVED

We told you last week that the Township Committee had authorized temporary lights for Memorial Park to make up for the lack of fields at De Hart due to the turf debacle there.

The lights have arrived. The TC had authorized up to $28,000 be spent on them.

Township Administrator Joe Manning said the true cost is $3655.50 per month and estimates the lights will be needed for two and a half months, but perhaps more or less.

At that estimate the cost is expected to be about $9138.75.
